OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — A Destin man accused of driving under the influence has been arrested in Okaloosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

An FHP crash report said a 44-year-old man driving a passenger bus did not yield the right of way to a truck driven by a 67-year-old man around 9 p.m. Thursday, July 18, near 1325 U.S. Highway 98, Fort Walton Beach.

Because of the failure to yield, the front of the truck hit the back of the passenger bus, according to the report.

The passenger bus driver was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way when exiting a motor vehicle.

The report said officers found that the driver of the truck was under the influence and he was arrested.
