    Suicide Awareness Ride fundraises for veterans’ mental health

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Harley Davidson of Fort Wayne and FW22 collaborate to raise money for the veteran community with their Suicide Awareness Ride .

    The event on Saturday is guided by The Freedom Riders of Indiana Chapter 1 as they ride around Summit City with participants.

    Local non profit FW22 raises funds and awareness concerning veterans struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. According to the FW22 website, the organization also works to educate on veteran suicide prevention and mental health as well.

    King Arthur’s , Rudy’s and The Omelet Bar will be vendors at the Suicide Awareness Ride. Wallen Road will be playing at the event from noon to 4p.m.

    The ride registration is Saturday from 9a.m. to 10a.m. Riders leave at noon. The cost of admission is $25 per motorcycle and $10 per passenger.
