The search for the driver of an abandoned car located in Jack County led to the discovery of a body, according to law enforcement officials.

Searchers found the body of Nkosinomusa Emmanuel Gwalla of Fort Worth in a creek Friday afternoon.

According to a Facebook post from the Jack County Sheriff's Office, deputies got a call about a suspicious vehicle on Coca Cola Ranch Road and learned the vehicle was connected to a missing person report.

Members of Jack County Sheriff's Office, Jacksboro Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas game wardens, firefighters, city and hospital workers and several agencies from Fort Worth participated in the two-day search through rugged terrain.

Gwalla's body was found about a mile from his vehicle.

The Facebook post did not reveal the cause of the man's death.
