'Bengals are just gonna Bengal': ESPN analysts slam team for not extending Ja'Marr Chase
Analysts on ESPN's "NFL Live" reacted to a tweet from reporter Ben Baby indicating that the Cincinnati Bengals might not be inclined to give receiver Ja'Marr Chase a contract extension anytime soon. "A new contract for Ja'Marr Chase might be unlikely anytime soon," Baby tweeted Monday evening. "Mike Brown: 'The die has probably...
Last place Cincinnati Reds willing to sell at trade deadline, again
The 2024 Cincinnati Reds aren’t just in last place in the National League Central at 47-53, they’re fresh off being swept by a bad Washington Nationals team at precisely the time when they should be scratching, clawing their way to every win possible. This season is not to...

The player Cincinnati Reds should add at MLB trade deadline: Joey Votto | Press Box Wag
It’s hard to get an impact player at the trade deadline if you operate at the margins of the marketplace like the Cincinnati Reds are doing. Unless a low-lying creative move can be found that matches the ideal fit for the exact ideal team at those margins. ...
Washington Nationals news & notes: James Wood homers to beat Reds; Nats sweep three-game series...
Washington Nationals’ rookie James Wood was 8 for 25 (.320/.452/.480) with a double, one home run, six walks, and seven strikeouts in his first seven games in the majors, but going into Saturday night’s matchup with the Cincinnati Reds in the nation’s capital, the 21-year-old slugger was 6 for 32 (.188/.212/.188) with no walks and 16 Ks in his previous eight games and 33 PAs.
Bengals' first-round pick Amarius Mims signs rookie deal
Cincinnati Bengals first-round pick Amarius Mims signed his rookie contract, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Mims was the last rookie from this year’s draft class to sign his deal. For Mims to participate in any training camp practices, he needed to sign his deal. The Bengals begin training camp on Wednesday.
Matt’s Take – Reds fall short yet again; Bengals preview
The Cincinnati Reds have unfortunately fallen back far enough to become sellers at the deadline. Their lackluster performance in Washington has officially become what I believe to be the nail in the coffin for this Reds season. I guess Joe Biden wasn’t the only person to drop out of the race in Washington this weekend. Of course, I hope I am wrong, but barring another 10-game win streak, I just don’t see Cincinnati making a run at the playoffs this year. Inconsistencies, injuries, and just poor performances have put this team 6 games below .500, dead last in the National League Central, 10.5 games behind Milwaukee, and 4 games back from a Wild Card spot. There are only two teams with worse records than the Cincinnati Reds in the National League, after a winning season from Cincinnati just a year ago.

CINCINNATI — Reports of President Joe Biden dropping out of the 2024 presidential race have been swirling around political circles for weeks. Brad Glenn talks UC's receivers
Cincinnati's inability to stretch the field on offense last season left many fans wanting. They wanted to see the satisfaction of a deep ball falling perfectly into the hands of a receiver. They wanted to see an offense clicking on all cylinders, seamlessly moving down the field. They didn't get that, for the most part.
