Carolyn was employed as a clerk for many years at the Standard Oil Company of Ohio (SOHIO) in Cincinnati, OH. She was an avid golfer and loved the opportunity to play whenever she could. Carolyn was also talented at several types of crafts and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
