Cincinnati, OH Recycling and Reuse Hub hosts ‘Telescope Recycle and Repair’
For the second time this year, Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub and Astronomer Dean Regas have collaborated to keep telescopes from entering landfills. Astronomy expert Dean Regas said that the event, “had a great response. There’s been so many people bringing in/dropping off their telescopes. This is our second time doing it – we did once in January, and we had sixteen telescopes come in. [Saturday has] been a little more than that.”
Fentanyl stolen from Northside family-owned pharmacy, pharmacist says
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Cincinnati police are investigating after two pharmacies were broken into last week and one of the break-ins was caught on camera. Richard Schaeper, the pharmacist and owner of Schaeper’s Pharmacy in Northside, shared security footage that shows three suspects breaking into the pharmacy around 3 a.m. on July 19.
