Domino’s free Emergency Pizza giveaway is coming back

Pizza Hut is not the only chain giving out free pizza .

Domino’s has announced plans to revive its Emergency Pizza promotion , which will give customers a free two-topping medium pizza that can be ordered whenever they want it following a qualifying order of $7.99 or more.

To get the free pie, you’ll need to be a member of the company’s Domino’s Rewards program. You’ll also have to redeem your emergency pizza voucher within 30 days. The promotion will run through Jan. 19, 2025, which will give you the opportunity for free pizza through the end of the NFL Divisional playoffs.

The promotion is also spreading its wings this time around. Domino’s is teaming up with Amazon and Twitch to integrate Emergency Pizza into a Fortnite game called The Glitch. (You won’t be able to earn a free pizza by playing, however.) And the company has partnered with nail brand Olive & June to offer an Emergency Pizza Mani Kit (with red and blue nail polishes to match the company’s logo colors) and a press-on nail line with pizza themes.

As with the game, buying the nail kits won’t fill your belly.

First introduced roughly a year ago, Emergency Pizza was a wildly successful program for Domino’s. CEO Russell Weiner said it “performed better than any buy-one-get-one-free I’ve done in my career.”

Like last time, you’ll only qualify for one Emergency Pizza during the promotion, but it can be combined with other deals. Delivery charges will apply.

“We launched our Emergency Pizza program last year and customers loved it so much we knew we had to bring it back in a big way,” said Kate Trumbull, Domino’s senior vice president and chief brand officer, in a statement.

This doesn’t look to be the final bow for Emergency Pizza. The promotion has been so successful that the company is already hinting that it’s working on the next iteration, with Trumbull saying “we have even more fun brand integrations planned for Emergency Pizza in the future.”
