One year since marijuana legalization and expungement efforts are still underway
We’re approaching the one year anniversary of the legalization of recreational marijuana. On top of businesses readying themselves to sell marijuana, the state cannabis review board has been hard at work looking at who is eligible to have marijuana-related criminal incidents expunged from their record. It’s a process that will change the lives of hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans with criminal records.
MITIE Director Guests on ‘Disrupting with Purpose’
Eyenga Bokamba, director of the Minnesota Institute for Trauma-Informed Education (MITIE), a joint partnership of the University of St. Thomas School of Education and Morrison Family College of Health, recently was a guest on the Youthprise series “Disrupting with Purpose.” Youthprise is the leading youth-centered philanthropic organization in Minnesota.

They collected a double, they had four players with multi-hit games. They put up four runs in the first and they played errorless defense. Their starting pitcher was Ethan Swanson, he threw 6 1/3 innings to earn the win. He gave up two singles, one walk and he recorded nine strikeouts. Ben Rothstein threw 2/3 of an inning in relief to earn the save, he gave up one hit.
