The Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball program has had abundant success as of late on the recruiting trail. One prospect that would fit Oats’ system is 2025 five-star shooting guard Meleek Thomas. On Tuesday, the Pennsylvania native released his top schools list. One of the schools that was listed was Alabama. When asked by On3’s Joe Tipton about his thoughts on the Crimson Tide, Thomas had the following to say: “They run a guard-heavy program. They’ve had...

Kitchen Cops find roaches, rodents and no hot water around the Valley
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - The weekly Kitchen Cops inspections are in, and all across north Alabama, inspectors seem to be running into very similar problems. The South End Market on Gault Avenue had numerous serious violations, dragging it’s score down to an 80. Inspectors noted roaches in the kitchen and prep area and rodent feces along the baseboard of the floor. There was also a pan blocking a hand washing sink, a cutting board blocking the 3 compartment sink and roaches in both sinks as well. On top of that, there was no hot water in the kitchen, making it impossible for the staff to wash or sanitize dishes.
