Suspect, Police Officer Injured In Shooting Near City Park In Fort Collins
Bullets flew Sunday near Fort Collins’ City Park as a driver involved in a single-vehicle crash nearby exchanged gunfire with responding Fort Collins police officers. According to the Coloradoan, the incident, which began around 12:41 p.m. Sunday, left both an officer and the driver injured, according to a Fort Collins police news release around 4 p.m. Sunday. The officer is expected to recover, but no official word on the driver’s condition. No civilians were injured in the incident.
