    Fountain Hills Theater brings back murder mystery dinner theater

    Fountain Hills Theater returns to Batchelor’s Pad BBQ with a new murder mystery dinner theater production, “Bellamorte!” an adaptation by Ross Collins of the game “A Taste for Wine and Murder.”

    Enjoy a fun-filled evening of laughs, dinner and mystery as FBI agents investigate the bizarre disappearance and ghastly re-appearance of Barry Bellamorte, owner of Bellamorte Wine Estates, a press release reads.

    The dinner includes a three-course meal, specially curated by Batchelor’s Pad BBQ, with optional wine pairing available for each course.

    Throughout the evening, guests get the chance to bribe the company of characters and work through the clues.

    “Bellamorte!” is directed by Ross Collins and stars Allison Avery, Isabelle Bandt, Savannah Grottenthaler, Matthew Krause, Henry Male, Lauren Miller, Mike Romano, Rene Salomon and Brody Willette-Zebell.

    “Bellamorte!” will play at Batchelor’s Pad BBQ, 13407 N. La Montana Drive on Friday, Aug. 2; Saturday, Aug. 3; Friday, Aug. 9; and Saturday, Aug. 10.

    Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show begins at 6 p.m.

    Ticket prices are $65 per person and include an interactive performance and a three-course dinner.

    Guests will have the option to add the wine pairings for $45 - one glass per course. A cash bar is available for additional beverages.

    Clue bucks to bribe suspects and 50/50 raffle tickets may also be purchased at the event.

    A portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible and all proceeds from the event will support Fountain Hills Theater, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

    Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
