Gifford: Friedel lacks leadership needed to be mayor

Add my name to those opposing Gerry Friedel for mayor.

His town council vote to stop the town attorney from defending the town clerk for doing their job in denying the ROT PAC's petitions is a deal breaker for me, especially considering it was the PAC's own ineptness that resulted in the denial. So, they sue the town clerk and lose.

I want a mayor who supports town staff and the  job they do, not someone who undermines their efforts. His vote on this issue demonstrates he does not have the leadership we need to be mayor.
