Early on the Saturday morning before the primary election, the town's Code Enforcement officer removed several political signs from directly in front of my house. When I asked about them, I was told that Sunridge Drive, as well as Golden Eagle, El Lago and some other residential streets, have been declared a "No Sign Zone" by town council.

Inquiring with Code Enforcement into the situation, I was told that no signs means no signs, whether political, yard sale, or even real estate open house or for sale signs. I feel that the town is limiting my (and everyone else's) right to free political speech and other speech.

I hereby call on town council to remove the no sign zone from all residential area streets in Fountain Hills.
