    PEO of Fountain Hills plans annual fashion show

    The PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization) Chapter DZ of Fountain Hills is hosting its annual fashion show Saturday, Feb. 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort.

    The theme is “Hooray for Hollywood,” where participants will step onto the red carpet and into the grand ballroom to live music and be surrounded by fashion presented by Classy Jazzy of Fountain Hills.

    The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money for women’s scholarships, according to a press release.

    Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. for attendees to enjoy shopping at the basket raffle and silent auction tables. The luncheon will commence at 12:20 p.m. followed by the fashion show and entertainment.

    Attendees are invited to bring cash/check for the basket raffles: $20 for 25 tickets; $10 for 12 tickets and $5 for 6 tickets. The 50/50 raffle is $20.

    How to purchase tickets

    To register, make a check out to PEO - Chapter DZ for $75 and send it to Connie Purinton, 11006 N. Ridgeview Ct., Fountain Hills, AZ 85268.

    Include an email address for confirmation and indicate at the bottom of the check if vegetarian or have allergies. No refunds.

    PEO Chapter DZ is not a nonprofit oganization and any donation for this event cannot be used as a charitable tax donation with the IRS. The funds go toward helping women  further their education.
