Fairland Keeps Their Impressive Season Going with Win over Afton to claim District Title

AFTON, Ok — The Fairland Owls dominated tonight over the Afton Eagles, 68-45, to claim the Class 2A District 6 Championship title.

Carson Schertz led the way for the Owls with 22 points. Markeen Webb finished with 18 and Gabe Callison scored 14.

Fairland now advances to the Class 2A Regionals. They will face off against Wyandotte in the winner’s bracket.

The game is set for Thursday (Feb 22) with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m. and the game will be played at Fairland High School.
