    A surge from Afton in the fourth propels the Eagles to a 55-42 win over Quapaw in Area

    FAIRLAND, Ok. — Playoffs time is off and running for schools in Oklahoma. For Class 2A Area it took place in Fairland. In the consolation bracket, the Afton Eagles faced off against the Quapaw Wildcats.

    The Eagles keep the Wildcats at bay with a 55-42 win to advance to regionals. Afton moves on to 12-12 on the season.

    While for Quapaw their season is cut short finishing the 2023-24 season with a 5-19 record.

    Afton will play the winner out of the Haworth and Colcord game for Regionals on Friday, February 23rd at 2:30 p.m. in Colcord.
