Missouri Southern Alum Rajindra Campbell Wins Bronze Medal at 2024 Paris Olympic Games

PARIS, FR — Missouri Southern alum Rajindra Campbell who is representing his home country of Jamaica competed in the finals of the Men’s Shot Put at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Campbell took home the Bronze Medal in the event after throwing a best throw of 22.15 meters.

Rajindra is the first Jamaican to win a medal in this event at the Olympic Games.

His throw of 22.15 meters came on his second throw of six attempts.

Just ahead of him was Ryan Crouser taking home the Gold Medal and Joe Kovacs of Team USA.

Rajindra spent three seasons at Missouri Southern from 2018-2021.
