JOPLIN, MO — The Joplin Outlaws and the Sherman Shadowcats squared off Saturday night with the Outlaws coming out on top thanks to a Andre Jackson walk-off to win, 3-2.

David Lopez for the Outlaws earned the win after pitching 7.2 innings, only allowing four hits and two earned runs and struck out 7 batters.

The game was tied 2-2 and went into extra innings. It wasn’t until Andre Jackson hit a RBI-single which allowed Brett Sarwinski to score and win the game.

With the win the Outlaws improve to 33-29 on the season and clinch a berth in the Mid-America League playoffs which will be held in Abilene, Texas on August 13th and 14th.
