WEBB CITY, MO — Webb City football fell to the Nixa Eagles 55-21 on Friday night.

The Cardinals jumped out to an early lead via a 1-yard rush by quarterback Jackson Lucas in the 1st quarter. Lucas would total 116 yards on the night, including a 69-yard touchdown sprint nearing the end of the 1st.

Cardinals running back Isaiah Tela also had a great evening on Friday. The junior running back rushed for 100 yards on 12 attempts against the Eagles. Despite Webb City’s strong first half, Nixa dominated in both the 3rd and 4th quarters.
