    Pittsburg State Volleyball Goes 2-0 in Day Two of Gorilla Classic Tournament

    PITTSBURG, KS — Pittsburg State Volleyball opened the 2024 regular season with a round-robin tournament alongside Arkansas Tech, Oklahoma Christian, Western Colorado, and Southwest Baptist.

    Day one of the Gorilla Classic Tournament saw the hosts go 1-1, dropping a contest to Oklahoma Christian while sweeping Arkansas Tech 3-0.

    Day two saw the Gorillas take on the Western Colorado Mountaineers and Southwest Baptist Bearcats, with both contests ending in a 3-0 sweep in favor of Pittsburg State.

    Pittsburg State moves to 3-1 on the season after today’s contests. The Gorillas are back in action on Thursday, September 12 in the Denton Volleyfest against Henderson State.
