NEOSHO, MO — Neosho softball took down Seneca in a 6-0 win on Monday afternoon.

Throwing five innings, striking out six, and only allowing one hit, the Wildcats were lead by pitcher Carleigh Kinnaird. In the bottom half of the first, senior Beclynn Garrett scored two runs for the Wildcats to get Neosho on the board early on. Leading 2-0, Sadee Leach followed up with an RBI triple and Journey Arnall hit a sacrifice fly to push the lead to 4-0.

Moving to the circle, Leach closed the door for Neosho in striking out one and only allowing two hits. Throwing two innings in relief, Leach put the game away for the Wildcats as her team secured the 6-0 win.

Up next, Neosho will travel to face Glendale and McDonald County will travel to Cassville on Thursday, September 12.
