Grove named to national list of top retirement communities

GROVE, Okla. – The Grand Lake community of Grove was named on the WorldAtlas list of top places to retire in Oklahoma.

WorldAtlas, an online geography resource, included Grove on its list of “10 Welcoming Towns to Retire in Oklahoma.”

The magazine listed the median listing home price in Grove as $384,000 and called the price “a steal, especially considering one is retiring right next to the water.”

The article states that surrounded by over 1,300 miles of shoreline, residents can expect a sparse, suburban feel, a laid-back, rural-ish atmosphere, and ever-popping shops and restaurants.

Several perks of living in the community include Shangri-La Resort , Har-Ber Village , and Lendonwood Gardens , and Grand Lake is perfect for boating and fishing .

The article also points to INTEGRIS Grove Hospital, a 2024 Patient Safety Excellence Award recipient.

Other communities listed are Guthrie, Duncan, Marlow, Bixby, Elgin, Bartlesville, Claremore, Sulpher, and Yukon.
