Diamond volleyball sweeps Stockton 3-0

DIAMOND, MO — Diamond volleyball took down Stockton on Thursday 3-0 at home.

The Wildcats took the first two sets: 25-20 and 25-17, but Stockton would put of a fight in the third set. Aubrey Ball and Lauren Turner were both credited with kills early on as Diamond looked to run away with the set up 6-0, but Stockton fought back.

The Tigers pulled even with the Wildcats, and Stockton’s Sarah Taylor gave her team a 7-6 lead. Despite the momentum being in the Tigers’ favor, Diamond came back and won the third set 25-18.

Up next, Diamond will travel up to Lamar to participate in the Lamar Tigers Classic on Saturday, September 21, while Stockton will Buffalo Lady Bison invitational.
