Top 5 Plays of the Week — Week 5

JOPLIN, MO — After a week of sports, we showed off our Top 5 Plays of the Week from around the Four State area.

Play #1: Pittsburg’s Conner Proffitt (touchdown against Labette County) —

Pittsburg’s Conner Proffitt had a huge game on Friday against Labette County. Quarterback Carsen Nickelson fired one to the endzone for Proffitt who made the terrific catch in traffic for the score.

Play #2: Seneca’s Kye Adams (long interception against Monett) —

Seneca’s Kye Adams made a heads up play against Monett on Friday. Adams made the pick off the loose ball and ran it the distance.

Play #3: Quapaw’s Caiden Porter (95 yard touchdown against Commerce) —

Quapaw’s Caiden Porter took a handoff for a touchdown on Friday night. Backed near the goalline, Porter took the handoff 95 yards for the score against Commerce on Friday.

Play #4: Pitt State’s Jack Roberts (touchdown catch against Washburn) —

Pitt State’s Jack Roberts tip toed his way in for a touchdown on Saturday against Washburn. Throwing on the run, Dodson found Roberts in the near-corner of the end zone for a touchdown.

Play #5: Webb City’s Jaeli Rutledge (17 kill game against Glendale) —

Webb City’s Jaeli Rutledge had 17 kills in her game against Glendale last week. Rutledge spiked the ball where no one could get it, as Webb City went on to sweep the Falcons.
