    Diamond Volleyball Takes Down Sarcoxie in 5-Set Thriller

    DIAMOND, MO — In a back-and-forth contest, Diamond Volleyball came out on top over Sarcoxie for the Wildcats’ third-straight win.

    Diamond was in control early in this one, but the bears continued to fight back and hang around, eventually forcing a fifth set.

    Despite the comeback efforts, Diamond took care of business in the tiebreaking set, taking it 15-11 to walk away with the win.

    With the win, Diamond moves to 10-5-1 this season while Sarcoxie drops to 8-7.

    Both teams will be back in action Tuesday, October 1 with Diamond taking on Pierce City and Sarcoxie facing Skyline.
