MIAMI, OK – The Miami Wardogs came into the night coming off a win over Tulsa looking to continue the momentum as they hosted the Oologah Mustangs.

Oologah was coming off a two game losing streak looking to get back in the win column.

Starting off in the first quarter the Mustangs kicked an early field goal to take a quick 3-0 lead.

Answering back for Miami was Khyler Walker. He elevated off the ground to snag a pass from quarterback Sam Lillard. Walker would bolt down the near sideline and pass the pylon for a Wardogs touchdown.

Once the second quarter came around, Lillard continued to have the hot hand. He would go on to throw another touchdown to close the half scoring 14 unanswered points.

Miami would go on to hold the lead and win 14-9.

The Wardogs will look to face Wagoner on the road on October 4th at 7:00pm, while Oologah will host For Gibson.
