QUAPAW, OK – The Quapaw Wildcats hosted the Tonkawa Buccaneers looking to bounce off of their first win last week to Commerce, as Tonkawa was looking to get back in the win column.

Starting things off in the first quarter, Tonkawa had an early 8-0 lead.

With six seconds left before the second quarter, Buccaneer running back Lucas Keith sprinted down the sideline for a 25 yard touchdown as Tonkawa took a 14-0 advantage.

In the second quarter with three minutes left before the half, quarterback Cayden Duvall punched one in himself for another Buccaneer score.

The score 15 seconds before the half was 22-0 Tonkawa.

With the clock winding down, Duvall found Matthew Gottman about 15 yards before crossing the pylon as Gottman showed off his vertical snagging the pass high out of the air.

The Buccaneers continued to dominate in the second half and went onto shut out Quapaw 44-0.

Quapaw will hit the road versus Nowata on October 4th at 7:00pm, while Tonkawa will host Caney Valley.
