PITTSBURG, KS — The St. Mary’s-Colgan Panthers move to 3-1 this season after a dominant effort against the Pleasanton Blu-Jays at home.

It was all Panthers from the opening whistle in this one, as Pleasanton’s only score came late in the game to avoid the shutout.

Colgan’s Anthony Schremmer got the touchdown party started on the opening kickoff of the game, taking it all the way to the end zone for six, breaking a few tackles along the way.

The Panthers held a 40-0 lead at halftime, and it proved to be entirely too insurmountable for the visiting Blu-Jays, who drop to 1-3 this season after a 66-8 loss.

Both squads will be back in action next week, with Colgan taking on Uniontown and Pleasanton taking on Jayhawk Linn.
