CARL JUNCTION, MO — Seneca football spoiled Carl Junction’s homecoming night with a 56-7 road win on Friday.

The Indians started fast with a Kaden Clouse touchdown off the quarterback keeper in the first quarter. Pushing the score to 7-0, Seneca kept its foot on the gas pedal. Clouse later found his tight end Hagen Ginger on the RPO for a touchdown that pushed the lead to 28-0.

The Bulldogs, however, did find the end zone in the second quarter. With Clouse and the Indians on offense, CJ senior Ryder Pyles picked off the quarterback. Pyles’ return on the interception put Carl Junction near the red zone.

Working their way to the goalline, Bulldogs quarterback Mason Gilbert found receiver Jaxton Wobken for the touchdown. While CJ did get on the board, Seneca’s offense powered them to victory as they went on to win 56-7.

On Friday, October 11, Seneca will host McDonald County, and Carl Junction will host Branson at 7:00 p.m.
