NEW HEIGHTS, MO – The 3-2 New Heights Cougars traveled to Webb City to match up with the 3-1 Plattsburg Tigers in their homecoming weekend.

Fast forwarding to 4:50 minutes left on the clock the Tigers had a 8-6 lead.

New Heights quarterback Logan Decker would go on to throw a 50 yard bomb down the field to an open man as the Cougars regained the lead 12-8.

Moments later, Tigers’ Jessiah Berry bolted into the endzone to give the lead back to the Tigers.

Now in the second quarter, Jaiveon Grayson for Plattsburg delivered a long ball to Berry as the Tigers pushed their lead 22-12.

Jumping ahead with one second left in the half with the Tigers up 28-26, Logan Decker for New Heights scrambled in the pocket and was able to find an open man down field to put the Cougars up 32-28 at the half, as they went on to dominate in a 60-28 victory.

New Heights will match up next week with Lockwood-Golden City on the road on October 11th with kickoff set for 7:00pm.
