Tar Creek body identied as Tulsa man

MIAMI, Okla. — Grand River Dam Authority officials released the name of a man whose remains were discovered in Tar Creek.

The body of Harold Stroud, 39, of Tulsa , was sent to the state’s Medical Examiner’s Office in Tulsa to determine the cause of death, said GRDA spokesman Justin Alberty.

Stroud’s body was discovered around 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents say they were called to assist with the crime scene of a suspicious death.
