(NEXSTAR) — Big Lots is set to close nearly four dozen additional stores as it continues navigating through its bankruptcy filing .

The discount retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September.

Last week, an additional 46 closures across 23 states were approved by the bankruptcy court.

In total, Big Lots has closed or announced the closure of 494 of its stores — that’s nearly 36% of the footprint the chain had at the start of the year.

Over 140 of those stores have already closed and been removed from the Big Lots website.

Below is a state-by-state breakdown of the stores that have already closed, are set to close, the newly-announced closures, and the number of stores that will remain as of Oct. 13.

The full list of closures can be found here .
