Joplin Volleyball sweeps Parkview 3-0

JOPLIN, MO – With both teams nearing the end of their regular season schedules, the Joplin Eagles would host the Parkview Vikings as both teams geared up for the postseason.

The Eagles took set one 25-7 and in set two they continued to dominate.

Defense was what sparked the Eagles energy as Aubrey Strickland and Emma Zallar opened up the set with a huge dual block on the left side of the net.

Following this possession, Strickland and Adalynn Noirfalise would do the same on the right side of the net. Joplin would go on to score four straight points.

Stopping the Eagles run would be Bella Larson from Parview with a spike of her own.

However, picking up right where they left off was Joplin. Gracie Sofia would secure two aces in a row to cap off set two 25-15.

Set three would end in a 25-14 Joplin sweep.

The Eagles will visit Webb City next on October 17th at 7pm with just two games remaining in their regular season.
