Missouri State Highway Patrol announces changes to driver license testing process

MISSOURI — The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) is informing the public about upcoming changes to the testing process for a driver’s license.

An upcoming upgrade to the driver license system will now offer the Class F written test in 20 languages, which includes a newly created sign language video version of the test.

The new system will provide a direct digital report to the Department of Revenue which will increase efficiency and deter license fraud.

In preparation for the transition, driver examination stations throughout the state will close at 12 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, and all day on November 8, 2024. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, following the Veterans Day holiday.
