    Neosho police release details on alleged junior high threat

    NEOSHO, Mo. — A response from Neosho police involving an alleged threat at the junior high.

    Officers say two boys took a picture of BB guns. It was later edited and posted to social media by a 12-year-old girl.

    Investigators say it had a caption stating a school shooting was planned for Wednesday. They determined it to be a hoax.

    Charges of making a threat have been requested by police and sent to the Newton County Juvenile Office.
