    Crash claims life of Oklahoma man in Delaware County

    LEACH, Okla. – A Mayes County man’s fatal motorcycle crash is under investigation, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported on Friday.

    James Winkler, 29, of Locust Grove, who was driving a 2007 Honda CTR motorcycle, died at the scene.

    Troopers said the collision occurred around 7:15 p.m. on Thursday on US-412A north of E 560 Rd, approximately three miles west of Leach, Oklahoma, in Delaware County.

    Andrea Overholser, 29, of Rose, was driving a 2020 Jeep Cherokee. The patrol reported that she was treated at Hastings Hospital and released in good condition.
