SARCOXIE, MO – With this being the final game of regular season play, the Sarcoxie Bears hosted the Ash Grove Pirates as both teams looked close out their year with a win.

Starting things off in the first quarter, Ash Grove quarterback Kyler Reece would find Harrison Thompson who found the back of the endzone for the first score of the game.

Sarcoxie answered quickly on the next possession with running back Caleb Christman raking one up the middle, finding space, and punching in a touchdown to knot the score up 6-6.

The score would stay tied until the start of the second quarter where Reece would take the QB keeper for Ash Grove and give the Pirates the 12-6 advantage.

Although the score bouncing back and forth all game, this battle would end in the Pirates capitalizing on the road with a 20-18 win.

Postseason schedules are still yet to be determined.
