SENECA, MO — Seneca football hosted Lamar in a battle of Big 8 rivals. With each squad playing for a state championship last season, the game would be highly anticipated. Seneca’s offense however, didn’t let up.

In the first quarter, Seneca quarterback Kaden Clouse ran in for his first touchdown of the game. Indians head coach Cody Hilburn wasn’t done as his group went for two points in what would capped off by another Clouse score.

Clouse got going in the passing game in the second quarter. Tossing to an open Tyrone Harris, he would maneuver his way around defenders and power his way into the end zone for another touchdown to extend the score to 15-0. Just under two minutes later, Clouse stepped back and launched one from his own 30-yard line to Blaze Graham for the touchdown to push the lead to 22-0.

The Indians didn’t take their foot off the gas pedal all night long as Seneca powered past Lamar 57-7. Lamar finishes its regular season at 5-4, and Seneca finishes its regular season at 9-0. Both teams will play in the postseason with matchups still to be determined.
