NEOSHO, Mo. — A Neosho church is getting in the Halloween spirit with a family-friendly trick-or-treating event.

The 3rd Annual Bounce and Treat was held today at North-Side Baptist Church.

The event had three bounce houses, as well as 11 carnival-style games like bag races, limbo, and corn hole.

Each game offered kids a chance for candy, no matter if they won or lost the game.

Kids could also throw children’s axes, get their face painted, or race through the bounce house obstacle track.

More than 400 hotdogs were also passed out for families.

“It’s a good night for the family. We really want to encourage the family to come out. It’s two hours of free food and fun, safe candy, safe neighborhood and good things,” said Tara Wilson, Sunday School leader.

Organizers expected to welcome hundreds of people to the event.
