JOPLIN, MO – The Joplin Outlaws bounced back against Sherman in a 12-2 win on Friday night.

In what would turn out to be a seven run third inning for Joplin, the Outlaws bats were lead by third baseman Evan Vienhage’s three-run triple. Clearing the bases, Joplin would continue to push runs across in taking advantage of key errors.

Pitcher Lucas Vanlanduit would also have a strong game on the mound. Pitching 6.2 innings, allowing only two hits, and striking out 8, Vanlanduit would help keep Sherman’s bats quiet all night long.

Up next, the Outlaws will face Sherman in game three of the series on Saturday, August 3rd at 7:05 p.m.
