A bit cooler Wednesday, but keep an eye out for strong storms
CLEVELAND — Heat advisories are in effect until 8pm with heat index readings hanging in the 90s this evening. Skies will be partly cloudy overnight with mild and muggy lows between 70 & 75 degrees. Thunderstorms over lower Michigan late this afternoon are expected to fade away over Lake Erie tonight. But another round of storms will form to our north and slide south into Northern Ohio by the morning rush on Wednesday. Because of clouds and rain-cooled air, Wednesday's high temperatures will be a bit cooler in the middle 80s. We will be watching for a line of severe storms to develop by late afternoon sliding east across the region. Any of these storms could contain damaging winds, heavy rains, & large hail.
