Sunshine, warm temps prevail in the Mid-South this weekend

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Not a whole lot to update here...its practically perfect out.

We have another beautiful day ahead with sunshine, dry skies and temperatures that are a little above average in the mid to upper 80s (avg is 80 degrees). This pattern continues into Sunday with overnight lows int he mid 60s, also above average (avg is 59). Clear skies expected but patchy fog development is possible again.

A cold front is expected tomorrow that will drop temperatures significantly below average in this low 70s/low 50s early next week. The Gulf has a system that will likely be named soon. Its up to a 90% chance that will bring flooding likely to central Florida.

Winds: 5/10 mph.

LOOKING AHEAD: We're in the upper 80s for the weekend with cooler temperatures in the 70s next week. Rain chance continues to stay low.
