Toyota issues recall for 2023-24 Sequoia cars

WASHINGTON D.C. - Toyota Motors recalls Sequoia cars due to structural hazards.

Toyota is recalling certain 2023-2024 Sequoia Hybrid cars that are equipped with a tow hitch cover attached to the rear bumper.

The tow hitch cover may come loose from the bumper and detach from the vehicle. Dealers will replace the tow hitch cover and modify the rear bumper, free of charge, Toyota said.

Notification letters are expected to be mailed on October 5, 2024. Owners of Toyota Sequoias can contact customer service at 1-800-331-4331.

The Toyota recall numbers are 24TB10 and 24TA10.
