    Central Arkansas schools hold academic signing day

    NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.  – Students making top grades got a taste of what many athletes get to experience.

    The North Little Rock and Little Rock School Districts, along with the Little Rock Public Education Foundation, held their academic signing day.

    Pulaski County Special School District closes virtual school due to enrollment decline

    While it’s like an athletic signing day, these students are being honored for their achievements in the classroom.

    The students were able to announce where they would be attending college, as well as what scholarships they’ve received.

    This year was one for the record books. There were 166 honorees, which is 40 more than last year.

    Educators reflect on first year of Arkansas LEARNS Act

    Some of the students said they’re planning on becoming journalists, engineers, doctors and industrial designers.
