LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A special group of students had something to celebrate Friday morning when 34 members of AmeriCorps were officially sworn in to serve as success coaches for the Jacksonville, North Pulaski and Little Rock school districts.

“They’re developing those relationships and really teaching those soft skills like resilience, empathy compassion and communication, all of those things you need to be successful in life. So, I feel like our services are very needed,” City Year executive director Jenifer Cobb stated.
