Pulaski County deputies arrest suspect in Vaughn Road homicide investigation

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. – Deputies with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said they have made an arrest tied to a homicide investigation started after a body was found earlier this month.

PCSO officials said they arrested 33-year-old Michael Nettles on Thursday night in connection with the investigation.

On Aug. 2, authorities said deputies found a body partially buried in a wooded area near Vaughn Road.

Authorities said the victim has not yet been identified.

Police said Nettles has been booked into the Pulaski County Regional Detention Center and is facing a charge of capital murder.
