UAPB’s “Roar City” tour takes over Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Thursday night was filled with black and gold in the capital city as Arkansas-Pine Bluff athletics held their annual coach’s roadshow event, the “Roar City” Tour.

It was a great event for 1-on-1 interaction with several alumni and fans to meet members of the Golden Lions athletic department while enjoying a few refreshments.

The event was also a great introduction for new head coaches. Women’s basketball’s Erica Leak and baseball’s Logan Stout were a huge hit, getting the crowd energized for what’s to come for the Golden Lions.

FOX 16 recapped the event where we got an update on athletic facilities from Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics, Chris Robinson, and heard from several coaches about expectations for their upcoming seasons.
