Arkansas State Police investigating death of Cherokee Village woman

CHEROKEE VILLAGE, Ark. – Arkansas State Police are investigating the death of a Cherokee Village woman.

On July 8, authorities said the Cherokee Village Police Department requested Arkansas State Police to investigate the death of 54-year-old Dana Deprow.

According to ASP officials, ASP special agents obtained a search warrant for a home on Saginaw Circle and found the remains of Deprow inside the home.

Investigators said Deprow’s remains were taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock where they will determine the cause of death.
