Pine Bluff police: 1 dead, 2 injured in fatal Sunday afternoon collision

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Officials with the Pine Bluff Police Department after a Sunday afternoon collision killed one and injured two others.

According to a Facebook post by the PBPD, officers were dispatched to 4109 Hwy 65 South in reference to a collision where multiple people had been ejected from a vehicle after a crash.

The post said that officers arrived and saw three males lying in the road after being thrown from a black pickup truck.

Witnesses at the scene said that all three males were thrown from the truck after being struck by a vehicle leaving the Dollar General. Witnesses also stated the black pickup truck flipped numerous times after being struck.

According to the post, officers began administering aid and notified first responders. Officials said there were two men critically injured and transported to a local hospital and another man died at the scene.
