    North Little Rock police identify victim killed in August shooting near Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum

    NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The North Little Rock Police Department has identified a man who was killed in a shooting last Thursday.

    On Aug. 29, authorities said officers responded to a shooting in the area of 100 Riverfront Park Drive just before 3:20 a.m.

    When they arrived, officers said they found a man and a woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The man, identified as 31-year-old Jordan Brown of Jacksonville, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

    NLRPD officials said this is an ongoing investigation and more information will be released when it becomes available.
